RESOLUTION NO. 89- 148 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SETTING A TIME <br />AND PLACE AT WHICH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTY ALONG <br />THE EAST AND WEST SIDES OF INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD <br />FROM U.S. #1 TO THE CITY OF VERO BEACH WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT AND OTHER PERSONS INTERESTED <br />THEREIN MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS AND BE HEARD AS TO THE PROPRIETY AND <br />ADVISABILITY OF CONSTRUCTING A SEWAGE TRANSMISSION <br />SYSTEM ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF INDIAN RIVER <br />BOULEVARD FROM U.S.#1 TO THE CITY OF VERO BEACH <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT; AS TO THE COST <br />THEREOF; AS TO THE MANNER OF PAYMENT THEREFOR; AND <br />AS TO THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE SPECIALLY ASSESSED <br />AGAINST EACH PROPERTY BENEFITED THEREBY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County has, by Resolution No. 89-147, determined that <br />it is necessary for the public welfare of the citizens of <br />the county, and particularly as to those living, working, <br />and owning property within the area described hereinafter, <br />that a SEWAGE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM be installed In <br />approximately 34 properties hereinafter described; and <br />'WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be <br />specially assessed with respect thereto shall be <br />$.026344 per square foot; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has caused <br />an assessment roll to be completed and filed in the Utility <br />Services Department; and <br />WHEREAS, §11-46, Indian River County Code, requires <br />that the Board of County Commissioners shall fix a time and <br />place at which the owners of the properties to be assessed <br />or any other persons interested therein may appear before <br />the Board of County Commissioners and be heard as to the <br />propriety and advisability of constructing such system, as <br />to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor, <br />and as to the amount thereof to be assessed against each <br />property benefited thereby, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />NOV 2C ,989 <br />1.
