Tuesday, December 19, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />December 19, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. • <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Eggert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler advised that the Administrator has <br />requested the addition of item 8C under his matters in regard to <br />setting up a workshop date for the Courthouse Master Plan. <br />Commissioner Eggert wished to add a report from P.L.A.B. <br />(Public Library Advisory Board) under her matters. <br />Commissioner Scurlock believed that there has been a request <br />by the applicants to remove the following Public Hearings from <br />today's Agenda: <br />7B(1) - Gifford Elderly Housing Rezoning <br />Request - RS -6 to RM -10 <br />7B(3) - Request to vacate Sunshine Quality Homes <br />Unit 2 Plat <br />ON MOTION by' Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously added items <br />and deleted items on today's agenda as described above. <br />DEC 1 1989 <br />BOOK 70 PAGE 64 <br />
