Budget Amendment #022 - Lightning Strike <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/27/89: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: December 27, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: BUDGET AMENDMENT 022 - <br />LIGHTNING' STRIKE <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />In June of 1989 the Sheriff's department incurred' lightai c damage <br />to the 911 system which the cost of repair was $8,811.00. Indian <br />River County did not receive payment of $8,561.00 (less -$250.00 <br />deductible) from the insurance company until the 1989/90 fiscal year <br />and did not pay the vendor until the county had received the <br />settlement. The attached budget amendment appropriates funding for <br />costs incurred with the light'nj*rq damage. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve budget <br />amendment 022. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />Budget Amendment 022 in the amount of $8,561 for <br />lightning damages, as recommended by OMB Director <br />Baird. <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />r <br />FROM: Joseph A.
