Chairman Eggert clarified that the 2.2 million has been <br />proposed by DHRS, and Administrator Chandler explained that <br />since, at this time, we can't bank on receiving that amount, we <br />included the entire cost of the building when we presented the <br />Sales Tax to the public. <br />Commissioner Scurlock hoped that at the proper time we <br />authorize Commission members and staff to do whatever is <br />necessary in Tallahassee to make our voice heard on this. <br />Chairman Eggert confirmed that Dr. Berman has been doing all <br />he can, and she is going to our Legislative Delegation with this <br />next week. The first, an <br />administrative policy manual, was necessary to provide internal <br />guidance. The second, an ordinance, was necessary to':provide <br />authority for the program. <br />Analysis <br />Priorities for the Risk Management Division have been the <br />development of both the administrative policy manual and the <br />ordinance. <br />The administrative manual, which is attached, has been reviewed by <br />Department Heads as well as Constitutional Officers. Comments made <br />during the review process were carefully considered and several <br />
