Seeing none, he <br />assumed no one was interested because it cuts down boat sales, <br />and he didn't feel that is cooperation. <br />Casey Lynn stated that he was not in favor of licensing, but <br />was heavily in favor of education and enforcement. <br />Mr. Kramer understood that the State of New Hampshire pulls <br />your car license if you don't obey the marine rules. <br />Don Kenny, dock master at the Sea Oaks Yacht Club, advised <br />that the Sea Oaks community and the Sea Oaks Yacht Club support <br />the waterskier's right and privilege to use the Indian River at <br />the Narrows, and applaud the County's recognition of the <br />difference between boat speed and boat wake and also their <br />recognition that boat wake is the cause of the erosion along that <br />shoreline. However, they wish to ask that a maximum speed limit <br />be set within the Narrows in order to protect the boaters and the <br />waterskiers from the high performance, cigarette -type boats. Mr. <br />Kenny felt that representatives of all the users of the river <br />should be appointed to the committee that will be recommending <br />the boating safety regulations, which would include <br />representatives from the sail boaters, waterskiers, and <br />recreational fishermen. <br />Rick Giteles, vice chairman of the Sebastian Inlet Taxing <br />District Advisory Committee, requested that before a non -site <br />specific recommendation is made for the St. Sebastian River, the <br />Board take a good hard look at the interim proposal that the <br />Sebastian Inlet Advisory Board has come up with.
