Chairman Eggert noted that it is just north of 58th Avenue <br />and 8th Street - the Freeman property. <br />The Board generally indicated that should be left at LD -1. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously agreed the <br />above described area should be left at LD -1. <br />Commissioner Scurlock referred to the section below the LD -1 <br />where there is no request for a change other than from the Civic <br />Association and noted that he is looking to extend that LD -1 down <br />further to the south. <br />Chairman Eggert referred to the area between 43rd Avenue and <br />58th Avenue with the exception of Pine Tree Park, and asked if he <br />wished to extend the LD -1 south clear to 13th St. SW. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, that we leave Stevens Park, which <br />is existing, as it is; then take the rest and extend <br />LD -1 consistently down to 13th Street SW. <br />Chairman Eggert reiterated that this is between 43rd and <br />58th Avenues. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />Chairman Eggert noted that the Civic Association refers to <br />some AGs that were raised to LD -1 in the Orange. <br />Commissioner Bird thought that the Orange down along 1-95 <br />was their main area of concern because it amounted to about <br />15,000 units. <br />Commissioner Scurlock commented that about all he is inter- <br />ested in doing right now is just that one strip we did, and that <br />96 <br />
