Unlawful for livestock to run at <br />large; harboring wild animals. <br />It shall be unlawful for any Iivestock to run at <br />large within Indian River County, Florida. It shall be <br />unlawful to keep any wild animal in violation of the <br />provisions of Chapter 372, Florida Statutes, and regulations <br />promulgated by the Florida Game and Fresh_ Water Fish <br />Commission. <br />SECTION 5. <br />Section 3-16(a), Code of Laws and Ordinances of <br />Indian River County, is hereby amended as follows: <br />(a) Any violation of this chapter, constitutes a <br />civil infraction and may be punishable by a civil penalty <br />not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00). If the <br />person who has committed the violation does not contest the <br />citation, a civil penalty of less than the maximum allowed <br />wi I l be assessed, and may be punishable by a c iv i I penalty <br />not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00). Each day or <br />fraction thereof during which the violation continues shall <br />be considered as'a separate offense.
