Budget Amendment 045 - Unemployment Compensation <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 3/5/90: <br />,. TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: March 5, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: BUDGET AMENDMENT 045 — <br />UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />THROUGH: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />FROM: Leila Beth Miller <br />Budget Analyst31toy� <br />Description and Conditions <br />The State of Florida, Department of Labor has charged Indian River <br />County for Unemployment Compensation payments to former employees. A <br />budget amendment is required to reflect these payments. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve budget <br />amendment 045 to refund Unemployment Compensation payments, funding <br />to come from contingencies. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Scurlock being absent), approved budget <br />amendment 045, as recommended by staff. <br />7 BOOK ( F'A"It <br />WR 2 01990 <br />
