If there had been a renewal clause in the base <br />agreement, it probably would have been less. <br />Chairman Eggert noted that it mentions the professionals' <br />fees at $8,000-$10,000, but later on it says at a cost not to <br />exceed $10,600. <br />Administrator Chandler explained that $60D is included for <br />one visit to Indian River County, and the balance is the time and <br />hours that will be required. It is based on an hourly rate, <br />which is the reason for the range of $8,000 to $10,000. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Scurlock being absent) authorized Coopers <br />& Lybrand to prepare the actuarial update for the <br />self-insurance fund at a cost not to exceed $10,600 <br />with the understanding that a request for proposals <br />will be issued for the upcoming fiscal year, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION - INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD_ PHASE 3 - <br />ACCEPTANCE OF FINAL ALIGNMENT AND FINAL MITIGATION PLAN <br />Chairman Eggert announced that before we get into the <br />individual parcels of right-of-way acquisition, Public Works <br />Director Jim Davis needs to present us with some facts that must <br />go on the official record. <br />Director Davis introduced Attorney Robert Sechen from the <br />law firm of Blackwell, Walker, Fascell, and Hoehl in Miami, who <br />is representing the County in some of the work on the Indian <br />River Boulevard project.
