R 2 61990 BOOK ' <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Scurlock being absent), approved the <br />amended SLIAG Grant, as recommended by staff. <br />AMENDMENT #2 IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />C. Final Plat Approval for Country Meadows Subdivision <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 3/8/90: <br />SUBJECT: Final Plat Approval for Country Meadows Subdivision <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of March 20, 1990. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Country Meadows Subdivision is a proposed 35 lot subdivision of a <br />±13.27 acre parcel of land located at 3005 1st Street S.W., <br />immediately east of Pinewood Lane Subdivision. The subject <br />property is zoned RS -6, Single Family Residential (up to 6 units <br />per acre) and has an L-2, Low -Density Residential -2 (up to 6 units <br />per acre) land use designation. The proposed building density is <br />±2.64 units per acre. All roads, drainage and utilities easements <br />and facilities are to be dedicated to the county. <br />At its regular meeting of July 27, 1989, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission granted preliminary plat approval for the subdivision. <br />The owner's agent, Carter and Associates, Inc., is now requesting <br />final plat approval and has submitted the following: <br />1. a final plat in conformance with the approved preliminary <br />plat; <br />2. a cost estimate for construction of remaining improvements, <br />certified by the project engineer; <br />3. a contract for construction of required improvements; and <br />4. a letter of credit securing the construction contract. <br />4 <br />TO: <br />James E.
