Tuesday, April 3, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, April 3, 1990, <br />at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman; Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr.; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to <br />the Board'of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; <br />and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Elmer Vogelsang of Immanuel Baptist Church gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Bowman led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert advised that Item 10-H-4 under Utilities is <br />actually a public hearing and will be moved to 8-13-2. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition to today's <br />Agenda of a brief report on the NACo Conference in Washington, <br />D. C. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to report on his recent trip to <br />Washington, D.C. to attend a presentation of a national award to <br />the Treasure Coast Private Industry Council. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously transferred <br />and added the above items. <br />BOOK <br />
