• <br />• <br />District School Board Special Meeting Impact Fees Minutes (9/11/20]41 Stang, Judy <br />For the record, Chairman Johnson asked Ms. Nilgun Kamp, from Tindale Oliver, to <br />state for the record the recommended 2014 affordable growth amounts for School <br />Impact Fees. Ms. Kamp stated figures from page 11 of the PowerPoint that for a single <br />family home the amount would be $1,702.00; for a multi -family home the amount <br />would be $668.00; and for a mobile home the amount would be $1,026.00. For the <br />record, Chairman Johnson asked Tindale Oliver to state the current impact fee rates. <br />Ms. Kamp stated figures from page 11 of the PowerPoint that for a single family home <br />the amount was $1,756; for a multi -family home the amount was $500.00; and for a <br />mobile home the amount was $623.00. Chairman Johnson asked the County if any <br />developers had voiced opposition to the figures. The County responded that they had <br />not received any opposition to the proposed fees. Dr. Adams spoke briefly about the <br />proposed recommendation before the Board. <br />Chairman Johnson called for a motion. Ms. Jimenez moved approval to send a letter <br />from the School Board to request that the Indian River County Commission allow the <br />continued collection of School Impact Fees at the rate recommended by the County <br />Consultants, Tindale Oliver. Mr. McCain seconded the motion. Board Members were <br />given an opportunity to summarize their positions on the motion. Chairman Johnson <br />thanked the County Commissioners.
