The Friends purchased display boards for specific <br />subject displays and displays from the Florida Humanities Council. <br />The library serves as an early voting site. <br />The Friends sponsor the lease plan program that provides patrons with <br />additional copies of popular books and DVD's (System -wide). <br />Programming is on-going for adults, young adults, and children. For <br />children, the library offers Books and Babies; Daddytime; pre -toddler, <br />toddler, and 3-5 year old storytimes; after school programs; art; music; s <br />language; summer programs; field trips and tours; and special programs <br />throughout the year. <br />Programs for adults and young adults include poetry, genealogy, <br />babysitting, calligraphy, belly dancing, zumba, yoga, breathing, sign <br />language, art, music, monthly concert (on the lawn), talent shows, wri <br />WN <br />modeling, career, creative writing, drama, illustration, photography, public <br />relations, crafts, cultures, summer programs, and special programs <br />throughout the year. The Friends sponsor author presentations. <br />Brackett Library (Indian River County/Indian River State College <br />Joint -Use) <br />The Brackett Library is located on the Mueller Center campus of Indian <br />River State College in Vero Beach, Florida. This two-story, 30,000 squa <br />feet facility is a full service public library branch of the Indian River Coi <br />Library System. The Brackett library offers services to patrons of all age <br />students, and faculty. <br />There is a computer Instruction Lab that can be used both by the Colle <br />and the public with 37 workstations. Equipment and public computers <br />available for the public. <br />Brackett has 91,711 cataloged items. Programs for all ages are also offe <br />throughout the year (including concerts on the lawn). There are 4 study <br />rooms, a reserve room, a small classroom, a 20 — 25 seat conference roc <br />and a 50 — 75 seat meeting room. <br />10 118 <br />
