Better acquaint the public with the library's programs, services, and <br />collections. <br />By continuing to: <br />• Publicize library programs and services <br />• Offer meeting room space for community groups and <br />organizations <br />• Index the local newspaper with the Genealogical Society <br />• Keep the web page current <br />• Offer classes on research methods <br />North Indian River County <br />Goal: <br />Provide current, high demand, and high interest materials in a variety <br />of formats to meet patron demand, which supports the primary role of <br />"popular materials library." <br />Objectives & Activities <br />Make available popular materials in all formats in sufficient <br />quantities to meet public demand in a timely manner. <br />By continuing to: <br />• Purchase multiple copies of popular, bestselling, and well - <br />reviewed adult fiction books. <br />• Develop the audiovisual collection. <br />• Build the E -books and downloadable audio collections <br />50 % of the materials budget is expended in this area. <br />Goal: <br />Encourage children of all ages to develop an interest in reading an <br />learning, which supports the secondary role of "children's door to <br />learning." <br />21 129 <br />
