'°• „.;,,,,if ,,,+,ywx " <br />w9 %js' . t • i / ®v,.... -i....0*-, aA <br />f <br />- _- - -`-- �-,-..if <br />'',Zj'1 C01 <br />jt <br />PROCLAMA TION <br />HONORING GREGORY BUDDE ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SER VICES/FIRE RESCUE <br />WHEREAS, Gregory Budde retired from Indian River County Fire Rescue effective November 3, <br />2014; and <br />WHEREAS, Gregory Budde began his firefighting career with the South Indian River County Fire <br />District on January 1, 1982, as a Firefighter. On January 22, 1984, he became a Firefighter -EMT <br />and on June 6, 1986, Gregory became an Engineer -EMT. On September 27, 1990, he arose to the <br />position of Lieutenant -EMT. Gregory was then promoted to Captain on May 5, 2006, which is the <br />position he held until retirement. He received his paramedic license on July 27, 2007. Gregory <br />implemented the physical training program for the department, and during his tenure he received <br />numerous Letters of Appreciation. He was also instrumental in the adaptation of the Airport Field <br />Training Officer Program, along with being the liaison for airport training between the City of Vero <br />Beach and Indian River County Fire Rescue. Gregory was also involved with the Big Heart <br />Brigade for the past nine years. <br />WHEREAS, Gregory Budde served this County and the Public with distinction and selflessness. <br />During his thirty-two years of service, he was dedicated and his work was greatly appreciated by the <br />employer and co-workers alike; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board applauds Gregory Budde's efforts on <br />behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to express their appreciation for the dedicated service <br />he has given to Indian River County for the last thirty-two years; and <br />4 1 <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff extend <br />heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors! <br />Adopted this 4th day of November 2014. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />%L"-2, <br />:c; ✓ _n 1. �,� _ G <br />Peter D.
