Peter Tyson, Island Drive, Vero Beach, representing the St. Christopher Harbor <br /> Homeowners' Association, confirmed the need for the channel and responded to questions from <br /> Vice Chairman Solari regarding what agencies would be overseeing the environmental aspects of <br /> the channel restoration. <br /> ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Solari, SECONDED by <br /> Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br /> the proposed channel restoration project at Head Island <br /> (a.k.a. the Green Salt Marsh LAAC Site) west of St. <br /> Christopher Harbor Subdivision, contingent upon approval <br /> from jurisdictional permitting agencies, proper removal <br /> and disposal of dredged materials, and installation of <br /> appropriate navigation and manatee protection signage, as <br /> recommended in the memorandum of June 4, 2010. <br /> 12.A.3.
