The source of apportionment is the Florida <br />Governor's Apportionment (GA) of Section 5307 funds. Attached is a copy of the GA for FFY 2014. <br />This grant will fund the purchase of vehicles, bus route signs, computer hardware and software, security <br />equipment, vehicle insurance, vehicle preventive maintenance, bus shelters, and communications equipment. All <br />Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) equipment/components are compatible with both Regional and National <br />ITS architectures. All new buses and vans will be handicap accessible using either ADA -compliant lifts or ramps. <br />The total eligible cost is $4,120,000; of which the federal share is $3,120,000. Of this amount, the federal <br />operating assistance is $1,000,000. The nonfederal portion of operating assistance is $1,000,000 and will be met <br />through a combination of FDOT grant funds and local funds as approved by Indian River County.
