DeBraal, Deputy County Attorney <br />Kate Pingolt Cotner, Assistant County Attorney <br />County Attorney's Matters - B.C.C. 03.18.14 <br />Office of <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />ATTORNEY <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Dylan Reingold, County Attorney <br />DATE: March 12, 2014 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Reiterating the Board's Support for the Sale of the City of Vero Beach Electric <br />Utility by the City of Vero Beach to Florida Power & Light <br />BACKGROUND. <br />On March 11, 2014, after an update from Amy Brunjes, the External Affairs Manager of Florida Power & <br />Light, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners (the "Board") voted to reiterate its <br />support for the sale of the City of Vero Beach electric utility by the City of Vero Beach to Florida Power <br />& Light. The Board authorized the County Attorney's Office to draft a resolution setting forth the <br />Board's position. Pursuant to that authorization, the County Attorney's Office has drafted the enclosed <br />resolution.
