APR 101990 Boa: a F'a.H860-1 <br />III. CONSULTANT ENGINEER INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Workers Compensation Insurance in accordance with Florida <br />Statutes. <br />B. Comprehensive and Automotive Liability with:a minimum coverage of <br />$100,000/$300,000 per occurrence for bodily injury or accidental <br />death. <br />C. Comprehensive General Liability with a minimum limit of <br />$100,000/$300,000 covering property damage. <br />D. Liability for Property Damage, while operating motor vehicle, <br />with minimum limits of $100,000 per occurrence. <br />E. Contractual Liability including limits established for Items <br />IIIB., Ci., and D above. <br />F. Umbrella coverage, Excess Liability with minimum limits of <br />$1,000,000 per occurrence. <br />IV. COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES <br />Cost Element #1 - $ 66,509 <br />Cost Element #2 - $ 29,011 <br />Cost Element #3 - $ 44,132 <br />For the Basic Services performed under Section I, the Owner agrees to <br />pay the Engineer a cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) amount not to exceed <br />$139,652.00. <br />The CPFF amount shall consist of all direct and indirect costs as <br />described below incurred in or directly attributable to the perform- <br />ance of the services plus a fixed fee. <br />A. Direct Costs <br />1. Direct Labor Cost. The Engineer shall be compensated for the <br />services o its personnel on the basis of direct labor cost <br />(chargeable salaries without fringe benefits) as incurred by <br />the Engineer's personnel for the time such personnel are <br />directly utilized on the work. The salaries of any personnel <br />assigned are subject to modification by the Engineer through- <br />out the term of this Agreement as part of scheduled company- <br />wide personnel evaluation. <br />2. Travel Expenses and Subsistence. The Engineer shall be paid <br />actual costs of travel expenses including air fare, automo- <br />bile rental, if required, mileage charges, parking, tolls, <br />and taxi, lodging, and subsistence where such expenses are <br />directly related to the performance of the work. <br />3. Other Incidental Direct Costs. The cost of other services as <br />may be required hereunder, --but which are not normally in- <br />cluded as part of the overhead of the Engineer, shall be re- <br />imbursed to the Engineer. Such other services as required to <br />complete this Agreement may include but are not limited to <br />the following: computer/program and word processor charges, <br />printing costs, reproduction costs, telephone and telegraph <br />costs, laboratory analysis charges, field equipment rental <br />charges, mailing, shipping costs and special equipment pro- <br />. curement . <br />4. For work done by subcontractor or consultants, at the actual <br />cost to the Engineer of such services. <br />B. Indirect Costs <br />Overhead and Fringe Benefits. In addition to the payments as <br />hereffibefore Provided, t e Owner agrees to pay to the Engineer a <br />charge for overhead and fringe benefits (expressed as a factor <br />times direct labor costs) incurred by the Engineer during the <br />74 <br />
