Conduct initial inspection to evaluate condition of major home systems: <br /> • Roof <br /> • Structure <br /> • Plumbing <br /> • Electric <br /> • HVAC <br /> • Septic <br /> • Foundation <br /> And to determine if the house is structurally sound and if it can be rehabilitated. <br /> 2. Perform a detailed inspection, prepare a detailed work write-up and bid <br /> package, prepare a cost estimate, and submit the work write-up, bid <br /> package and cost estimate to county staff. HOUSING INSPECTOR is <br /> prohibited from providing his cost estimate to anyone except county <br /> staff prior to bid opening. <br /> 3. Respond to contractors' Request For Information (RFI) <br /> 4. Review and approve any change orders submitted for the project. <br /> 5. After the rehabilitation contractor completes the job, visit the job and <br /> �- prepare a punch list of unfinished items. <br /> 6. When there is a request for payment, inspect the work and determine if <br /> the job was done satisfactorily. <br /> 7.
