BAKER ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES/WATER DISTRIBUTIONDIVISION <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Baker, having served the people of Indian River County for a total of <br /> twenty-three years, will be retiring effective June 30,2014; and <br /> WHEREAS,Daniel Baker began his career with Indian River County on September 6, 1983 as <br /> a Utilities Service Worker/Equipment Operator until his resignation on August 8,1985;and <br /> WHEREAS,Daniel Baker resumed his employment on January 6, 1986,giving nine additional <br /> years of devoted service,first as a Road Engineer Inspector, and then as a Utilities Service <br /> Worker. He continued in that capacity until his resignation on April 27, 1995,and { <br /> t`• WHEREAS, Daniel Baker resumed his employment on April 19, 2002. He served first as a f <br /> Utilities Service Worker, and on December 15, 2006, he was promoted to a Utilities Crew <br /> Leader. He continued in that capacity until his retirement;and t <br /> ' WHEREAS, Daniel Baker has served this County and the Public with distinction and ; <br /> se 7essness, and his work is greatly appreciated by his employer,and co-workers alike;and { <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board applauds <br /> Daniel Baker's efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to express their <br /> appreciation for the dedicated service Daniel Baker has given to Indian River County for the <br /> last twenty-three years;and <br /> BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff extend <br /> heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors. <br /> Adopted this 17`"da o June 2014. <br /> P y .f � <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br /> Peter D.
