1 <br />PROCLAMATION <br />HONORING EMMETT S. LANE ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES/FIRE RESCUE <br />WHEREAS, Emmett S. Lane retired from Indian River County Fire Rescue <br />effective June 3, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, Emmett S. Lane began his career on July 7, 1984, as a Firefighter <br />with the South Indian River County Fire District. He continued as a Firefighter <br />with Indian River County Fire Rescue until the completion of his career; and <br />WHEREAS, Emmett S. Lane has served this County and the Public with <br />distinction and selflessness. During his thirty years of service, he was dedicated <br />and his work was greatly appreciated by the community, department and co- <br />workers alike; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />applauds Emmett S. Lane's efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board <br />wishes to express their appreciation for the dedicated service he has given to <br />Indian River County for the last thirty years; and <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and <br />staff extend heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors! <br />Adopted this 3rd day of June 2014. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Peter D.
