51.3 <br />PROCLAMATION <br />HONORING VINCENT N. CASSERLY ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES/FIRE RESCUE <br />WHEREAS, Vincent N. Casserly retired from Indian River County effective August 31, <br />2014; and <br />WHEREAS, Vincent N. Casserly began his career with Indian River County as a <br />volunteer firefighter in 1982. On July 7, 1984, he was hired as a full-time Firefighter <br />with South Indian River County Fire District and became a Firefighter/EMT on July <br />7, 1986. On September 28, 1990, he was promoted to Driver/Engineer with Indian <br />River County Fire Rescue and continued in this capacity until his retirement. <br />WHEREAS, Vincent N. Casserly has served this County and the Public with <br />distinction and selflessness. During his thirty years of service, he was dedicated and <br />his work was greatly appreciated by the employer, citizens, and co-workers alike; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDL4N RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />applauds Vincent N. Casserly's efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes <br />to express their appreciation for the dedicated service he has given to Indian River <br />County for the last thirty years; and <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff <br />extend heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors. <br />Adopted this 19th day of August 2014. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDLANRIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />
