Complex <br />Indian River County Commission Chambers <br />1801 27th Street <br />Vero Beach, FL 32960 <br />For other meeting locations and dates, or to view the draft plan, <br />please visit: <br />www.dep.state.fLus/coastallsitesfindianriver/plan.htm <br />The Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Florida Coastal Office (FCO) is responsible for the <br />management of Florida's 41 aquatic preserves, 3 National Estuarine Research Reserves, a National Marine <br />Sanctuary, Florida Coastal Management Program, Outer Continental Shelf Program, Coral Reef Conservation <br />Program and Deepwater Horizon Response and Restoration Team. These protected areas comprise more than 4 <br />million acres of the most valuable submerged lands and select coastal uplands in Florida. FCO is updating these <br />management plans, and is currently seeking input on the draft Indian River Lagoon System aquatic preserves <br />management plan. <br />Meeting objectives: <br />1. Review purpose and process for revising the Indian River Lagoon System aquatic preserves management plan. <br />2. Present current draft plan with a focus on issues, goals, objectives and strategies. <br />3.
