DeBraal, Deputy County Attorney <br />Kate Pingolt Cotner, Assistant County Attorney <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Dylan Reingold, County Attorney 02----- <br />DATE: <br />September 9, 2014 <br />SUBJECT: Affordable Housing Advisory Committee Vacancy <br />On September 13, 2011, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 2011-072, which assigned <br />to the County Attorney's Office the task of monitoring certain committee member terms, and overseeing the <br />process of appointments and reappointments. This agenda item is to consider the appointment of an <br />applicant to fill the vacant position of "representative of those areas of labor actively engaged in home <br />building in connection with affordable housing" on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, which <br />term expires in January 2016. The vacancy has been advertised on the County's website and on Channel 27 <br />in excess of 30 days, and there was one qualified applicant for this position, whose resume is available for <br />review in the Commission Office: <br />JIM McALHANY <br />RECOMMENDATION. <br />The County ,Attorney recommends that the Board review the applicant's resume, and determine whether to <br />appoint him to fill the unexpired term for the "representative of those areas of labor actively engaged in <br />home building in connection with affordable housing" on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. <br />APPROVED FOR SEPTEMBER 16, 2014 <br />B.C.C.
