Impact Fees (other) <br />Fund 103 <br />Revenue Manual <br />Special Revenue Fund <br />REVENUE A one-time charge in the development of land by applying for the issuance of a <br />DESCRIPTION: building permit or an initial concurrency certificate to make an improvement to land <br />which will generate additional facilities or services necessary as the result of the new <br />development. <br />LEGAL AUTHORIZATION Home Rule Authority <br />FOR COLLECTION: County Code Chapters 1000-1012 <br />RATE: Based on the fee schedule in Title X of the Code of Indian River County. <br />Updated periodically as required in section 163.31801 Florida Statutes. <br />SOURCE: <br />The person applying for a building permit, mobile home set up <br />permit or an initial concurrency certificate shall pay the impact fees <br />assessed to the county community development department or to <br />0 <br />< > <br />the participating municipality prior to the issuance of a building <br />permit, mobile home set up permit or an initial concurrency <br />certificate. <br />j <br />1 AUTHORIZED USE: <br />Impact fee categories: Corrections, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Solid Waste, <br />Libraries, Public Buildings, and Administrative Fees. Capital improvement projects can <br />expend monies collected in the category specified for the project. School District <br />impact fees collected by the County are transferred to the School District.
