Oysters <br />❖ Not previously found within the SBM <br />•'• Recruited on-site immediately <br />❖ Maintenance program to remove oysters from PS <br />screen <br />❖ Found throughout ponds & mangroves <br />❖ Density increased from 2.81 oysters/m2 in 2011 <br />to 5.28 oysters/m2 in 2013 <br />❖ Filtering 18 gpd to 24 gpd <br />❖ Potential habitat, refugia, base of food chain <br />SUMMARY <br />❖ Spoonbill Marsh has meet the pen -nit requirements as <br />shown above since start-up <br />❖ Mangroves have increased their on-site densities and <br />distribution, and now provide a greater extent of habitat <br />than previously existed on-site <br />❖ High marsh plant communities continue to exist on-site <br />❖ The number of terrestrial wildlife species using the <br />Spoonbill Marsh as part of their habitat and/or home <br />range has increased by over 200 percent <br />❖ Most or all age classes of game fish species have been <br />found on-site since start-up <br />2/11/2015 <br />21Z.10 <br />
