EX WIT 1 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ENGINEERING DIVISION <br />GIFFORD STORMWATER PROJECT E X H I El T A <br />GENERAL <br />It is our understanding that Engineering Division intends to provide stormwater improvements in the <br />historic Spruce Park subdivision located in the Gifford area of Indian River County. The area of focus is a <br />residential contributing basin comprised of approximately 40 homes bordered by 411 Street to the south, <br />43' Street to the north, the Florida East Coast Railroad to the east, and 281 Avenue to the west. As per <br />coordination with County staff, the neighborhood is currently under utilizing an available wet detention <br />treatment facility due to the lack of a modem conveyance system. <br />The proposed design improvements will consist of conveyance swales, culverts, and stormwater structures <br />within the County right of way and previously attained drainage easements. <br />MBV Engineering will provide the surveying, design, permitting, and bidding services related to the above <br />activities. <br />SCOPE OF WORK specific <br />The scope of work has been detailed below and represents the services provided for the above referenced <br />project site. <br />TASK 1— SURVEY (EXISTING CONDITIONS) <br />CONSULTANT will obtain the boundary and topographic survey for the area to receive the improvements. <br />In addition, the CONSULTANT shall locate all visible aboveground utilities, structures, paved areas, and <br />buildings within the improvement area. <br />TASK 2 DESIGN SERVICES <br />2.1 CONSTRUCTION PLANS <br />CONSULTANT will prepare 24" x 36" design drawings for the above described improvements. The design <br />drawings will include Site Plan layout, Pavement Design Details and Erosion Control Plan and Details. <br />2.2 SPECIFICATIONS <br />CONSULTANT will prepare technical specifications for the proposed improvements. County will provide <br />in an electronic format of the Division specifications that are applicable and CONSULTANT will modify <br />them as required to make project specific. <br />2.3 CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATE <br />CONSULTANT will prepare estimates of probable construction costs at approximately 60, 90 and 100 <br />percent levels of design completion. <br />Pagel of 3 <br />162 <br />
