Anders Nyquist, As Trustee of the Unrecorded Nyquist <br /> Trust#2, u/a/d July 22, 1992 <br /> DATE: January 21, 2015 <br /> DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br /> This project consists of widening CR510 (85th Street) between 55th Avenue and the <br /> Indian River Lagoon, from a two-lane to a four-lane, median-divided road with turn <br /> lanes. From the subject parcel, the County will need to acquire right-of-way consisting of <br /> 1,465 square feet, a temporary construction easement containing 6,871 square feet and <br /> 2,537 square feet of property to be used as a drainage easement along the CR510 <br /> frontage. The property is zoned RS 1. <br /> County staff negotiated an agreement with Mr. Nyquist to purchase the right-of-way, <br /> temporary construction easement and drainage easement for the price of $27,500 <br /> inclusive of fees, thereby eliminating the time and expense of retaining an attorney or <br /> going through the court process of eminent domain. <br /> FUNDING <br /> Funds for this expenditure are available from Traffic Impact Fees/District I/ROW/CR <br /> 510/55th Ave to Indian River, Account# 10215141-066120-05023 <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The Board's options include the following: <br /> Option 1: Approve the transaction, purchasing the right-of-way (1,465 square feet of <br /> right-of-way, 6,871 square feet for a temporary construction easement and a drainage <br /> easement containing 2,537 square feet) for a purchase price of $27,500 inclusive of all <br /> fees. <br /> 1 <br /> 104 <br />
