Table 39 shows the sexually transmitted disease (STD) rate in Florida and Indian River County for <br /> those 15-19 from 2010 through 2013. The bacterial STDs include: Chancroid, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, <br /> Granuloma inguinale, Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV)and Syphilis. Though the state's rate per <br /> 1,000 has been on a consistent downward trend during this period, the rates in Indian River County <br /> have fluctuated a bit, but have decreased over the past couple of years and have also been lower than <br /> Florida's rates during this same time.
