7A <br />PROCLAMATION <br />i HONORING REBECCA SWEENEY ON HER RETIREMENT FROM <br />' INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES/FIRE RESCUE <br />WHEREAS, Rebecca Sweeney retired from Indian River County Fire Rescue effective <br />March 4,2015; and <br />WHEREAS, Rebecca Sweeney began her paramedic career on June 29, 1993, and was <br />promoted to EMS Lieutenant on June 13, 1997. EMS and Fire consolidation occurred in <br />October of 2005, and Rebecca was re-assigned to Advanced Life Support as a Paramedic 1, <br />and continued in this capacity until her retirement. <br />WHEREAS, Rebecca Sweeney has served this County and the Public with distinction and <br />selflessness. During her twenty-one years of service, she was dedicated and her work was <br />greatly appreciated by the employer, citizens and co-workers alike; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board applauds <br />Rebecca Sweeney's efforts on behatf of the County, and the Board wishes to express their <br />appreciation for the dedicated service she has given to Indian River County for the last <br />twenty-one years; and <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff <br />extend heartfelt wishes for success in all her future endeavors! <br />t <br />s Adopted this le day of March 2015. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />VER �,O INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />i Q <br />* * Wesley S.
