Kafer, Jr., P.E., County Engined <br />SUBJECT: FDOT Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement <br />and Resolution Authorizing the Chairman's Signature <br />87th Street from 101' Avenue to CR510 and 915` Avenue from 791h Street to 87th <br />Street Sidewalks <br />IRC Project No. 1205 - FM No. 431728-1-58/68-01 <br />DATE: February 23, 2015 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Indian River County has been awarded a $1,211,453.00 Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local <br />Agency Program (LAP) Grant for construction of 6 -foot wide concrete sidewalks along the north right of way <br />line of 87th Street from 101" Avenue to CR510 and along the east right of way line of 9111 Avenue from 79th <br />Street to 87th Street, including drainage improvements, Swale grading, pavement markings and sodding of <br />disturbed areas in Vero Lake Estates. Also included in the grant amount are Construction, Engineering and <br />Inspection (CEI) services. <br />FUNDING <br />The federal funds appropriated for this FDOT LAP grant are in the amount of $1,211,453.00. The Engineering <br />Division estimates the total cost for the construction and CEI charges to be approximately $1,211,453.00. <br />Funding is budgeted and available from Optional Sales Tax Account No. 31521441-066510-15003, Vero Lake <br />Estates Sidewalks.
