CR <br />Environmental Compliance <br />No payment was requested by GBC for this line item. <br />Site Restoration <br />No payment was requested by GBC for this line item. <br />Supply & Install Dune Vegetation <br />No payment was requested by GBC for this line item. <br />Pre -Construction & As -Built Surveys <br />GBC has requested payment for 50% of the survey cost ($44,500) in Payment Application #1. This <br />was recommended for payment and no additional payments are due at this time. <br />Per Specific Provision SP -14.2, "The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the lump sum price shall be paid <br />following submittal of the as -built surveys, record drawings, and as -built drawings." <br />No additional payment is recommended. <br />Summary <br />GBC has completed to date $1,969,722.00 worth of the work through the pay period defined by Pay <br />Application #5. This represents approximately 64% of the contracted amount. <br />According to FS 218.735(8)(d), <br />"After 50 -percent completion of the construction services purchased pursuant to the contract, <br />the contractor may present to the local governmental entity a payment request for up to one-half <br />of the retainage held by the local governmental entity. The local governmental entity shall <br />promptly make payment to the contractor, unless the local governmental entity has grounds, <br />pursuant to paragraph (f), for withholding the payment of retainage. If the local governmental <br />entity makes payment of retainage to the contractor under this paragraph which is attributable to <br />the labor, services, or materials supplied by one or more subcontractors or suppliers, the <br />contractor shall timely remit payment of such retainage to those subcontractors and suppliers." <br />A 10% retainage in the amount of $196,972.20 has been withheld by the County from Pay Applications <br />#1 through #4 per Specific Provision SP -15. As such, GBC's request for the release of 50% of the <br />retainage is recommended. Thus, the amount recommended this period for Pay Application #5 is <br />$98,486.10. <br />180 <br />
