US -85 -09 -DC <br />CONTRACT NO. 1 - 1.0 MGD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 AND FINAL PAYMENT <br />BACKGROUND <br />On October 1, 1987, Indian River County contracted for the <br />construction of the 1.0 MGD secondary wastewater treatment plant <br />with tertiary filter, chlorine contact tank, effluent pump chamber, <br />-non-spec effluent storage, percolation basin, office building, <br />mechanical building, paved access road and parking area, all piping <br />and electrical, and other general site work. <br />The work covered under Contract No. 1 has now been completed. <br />However, upon completion, the contract came in less than estimated. <br />Therefore, we are requesting a decrease in the contract price in the <br />25 <br />APR 2 41990 BOOK f'j F;r Uj <br />
