Tuesday, April 24, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />April 24, 1990, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. <br />Eggert, Chairman; Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. <br />Bowman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr.; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB <br />Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and County <br />Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested the addition under her items of <br />the discussion of a letter received from Catholic Charities in <br />regard to a Grant Program for Homeless funds as Item 12A (1) and <br />the addition as 12A (2) of an item supporting funding for the <br />Arts. <br />Commissioner Wheeler asked that an item be added under his <br />matters as 12E(1) regarding the Community Corrections Act, and <br />County Attorney Vitunac requested the addition of an item in <br />reference to an option contract on a 10 acre tract at Kings <br />Highway and Hobart Road as 11B . <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously approved the <br />addition of the items described above to the Agenda. <br />BOOK �,1;c�� <br />APR 4 1990 <br />
