Mascol <br />Division of Purchasing <br />SUBJ: IRC BID#90-61/POTABLE WATER PHASE IT <br />WORK PROGRESS SUMMER PLACE <br />IVY-IT401110V•,� <br />On request from the Utility Department the bid for <br />Potable Water System Expansion Phase II was properly <br />advertised and Twenty Seven (27) Invitations to bid were <br />sent out. On March 28, 1990 bids were received. Nine <br />(9) vendors submitted proposals for the commodity. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the submittal to ascertain adherence to <br />specifications. Derrico Construction was the low bidder that <br />met all requirements. <br />FUNDING: <br />Monies for this project will come from Budget Utility Funds, <br />Work Progress Stammer Place, which has a budget of $451,095.00. <br />Staff recommends the Award of a Fixed Contract for $207,755.00 <br />to the low bidder, Derrico Construction for the subject project. <br />8 , <br />
