Mascola, CPO Manager <br />Division of Purchasing <br />SUBJ: IRC BID #90-82 Heron Cay Waterline <br />nr�rr�nnrtnm. <br />On request from the Utility Department the bid for Heron Cay Waterline <br />was properly advertised and Fifteen (15) Invitations to Bid were sent <br />out. On May 9, 1990 bids were received. Six (6) vendors submitted <br />proposals for the commodity. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the submittals to ascertain adherence to all specifi- <br />cations. Derrico Construction was the low bidder that met all require- <br />ments. <br />FUNDING: <br />Monies for this project will come from Budget Utility Funds Utility <br />Impact Fee Funds RO Plant/Expansion. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recomrnnds the award of a Fixed Contract for $66,320.00 to the <br />low bidder, Derrico Construction for the subject project. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird; SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously awarded Bid <br />90-82 for Heron Cay Waterline to the low bidder, <br />Derrico Construction, in the amount of $66,320.00 <br />and approved the award of a Fixed Contract as recom- <br />mended by staff per the following Bid Tabulation: <br />MAY 2 2, 19on 13 bOOK E 14 !75 <br />
