FOR CONSULTING SERVICES <br />COUNTY NO. CAMP DRESSER & McKEE INC. CDM PROJECT NO.UW90-10-WC <br />(CONSULTANT) <br />I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Indian River County -.,North Beach RO Plant Expansion <br />II. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The Engineer will prepare the design report and final design, <br />including confirmation of the water demands, the determination of the <br />existing treatment plant capacity, complete a preliminary design, <br />prepare the final plans and specifications and assist in permitting. <br />Additionally, the Engineer will assist in obtaining bids, respond to <br />Contractor's questions and prepare addendum as required, attend the <br />bid opening, review bids for conformance with the contract documents, <br />recommend award of the contract and prepare the contract for award. <br />III. CONSULTING ENGINEER INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Workers Compensation Insurance in accordance with Florida <br />Statutes. <br />B. Comprehensive and Automotive Liability with a minimum coverage of <br />$100,000/$300,000 per occurrence for bodily injury or accidental <br />death. <br />C. Comprehensive General Liability with a minimum limit of <br />$100.,000/$300,000 covering property damage. <br />D. Liability for Property Damage, while operating motor vehicle, with <br />minimum limits of $100,000 per occurrence. <br />E. Contractual Liability including limits established for Items IIIB, <br />C, and D above. <br />F. Umbrella coverage, excess liability with minimum limits of <br />$100,000 per occurrence. <br />IV. COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES <br />Cost Element #1 $127,081 (Lump Sum) <br />Cost Element #2 $ 9,842 (Upper Limit) <br />Cost Element #3 $ 15,149 (Lump Sum) <br />A. Lump Sum Cost Elements <br />For the basic services performed for a lump sum fee, Indian River <br />County (IRC) agrees to pay Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. (CDM) partial <br />payments to be made on a monthly basis in proportion to the percentage <br />of work completed. <br />46 <br />
