ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Temporary Water Service Agreement with Nancy Jo <br />Branigan, as recommended by staff. <br />COPY OF AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE <br />:6-k� <br />N. Proclamation - Charlie B. Hudnell's Retirement from FHA <br />Chairman Eggert read aloud the following proclamation and <br />presented it to Charlie B. Hudnell: <br />P R 0 C L A M A T 1 0 N <br />A Proclamation of the <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />IN APPRECIATION OF THE ASSISTANCE <br />OF <br />CHARLIE B. HUDNELL <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has for over twenty <br />years been working on providing pubs-ic water and wastewater <br />services to the urbanizing areas of the county, and, in <br />particular, to the Gifford Community, which had a severe <br />threat to public safety caused by the failure of the <br />original utilities system; and <br />WHEREAS, the Farmers Home Administration was set up <br />by the federal government to assist local communities in <br />providing low-interest loans for public water and wastewater <br />systems; and <br />WHEREAS, CHARLIE B." HUDNELL has been the local <br />administrator for these programs in Indian River County for <br />the last fifteen years; and <br />WHEREAS, through the support, guidance, and <br />assistance of CHARLIE B. HUDNELL, Indian River County has <br />obtained loans exceeding $20 million, which. were used to <br />construct the South County Water System and the Gifford <br />boor 80 <br />23 •:�,c �,��.. <br />
