Mc <br />AND STAFFED CAPITAL PROJE T GINE <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF SERVICES <br />BACKGROUND <br />On January 3, 1990, the Board of County Commissioners approved an <br />agenda item allowing the Utilities Department to. investigate <br />suitable locations for a North County Water Treatment Plant. We are <br />now ready to proceed with a purchase. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The staff, at the direction of the Board of County Commissioners, <br />looked at two final properties on which to locate the proposed <br />plant. (See attached memo to Terrance Pinto dated May 31, 1990 for <br />analysis.) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the attached purchase <br />agreement for the +10 acre tract of land on the northwest corner of <br />Kings Highway and Hobart Road. (Property No. 1, in attached memo.) - <br />Commissioner Bird filed the following Conflict of Interest <br />and abstained from voting. <br />68 <br />� � r <br />
