In addition, the CL District <br />is restricted to uses which would be generally compatible with the <br />surrounding residential development. Finally, the change in use <br />would not reduce current adopted levels of service for public <br />services and facilities. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the analysis performed, staff recommends the Board of <br />County Commissioners approve the rezoning of this property to the <br />CL, Limited Commercial District. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be heard. <br />There were none, and she thereupon declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 90-11, rezoning 2.05 acres, more or less, <br />located north of 12th Street and approximately 424' <br />east of 12th Avenue from RM -6 to CL as requested by <br />the owners, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Blackburn and Mr. & <br />Mrs. Joseph Mobley. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 90-11 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RM -6, <br />MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO CL, LIMITED COMMER- <br />CIAL DISTRICT, FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON 12TH <br />STREET APPROXIMATELY 580 FEET WEST OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY, AND <br />DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />18 <br />
