UW -89 -17 -DS <br />PREPARED WILLIAM F. McCC <br />AND STAFFED CAPITAL PR ECER <br />BY:DEPARTMENTERVICES <br />BACKGROUND <br />On December 12, 1989, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved the start of project UW -89 -17 -DS. The <br />project will ultimately serve approximately 109 properties in the <br />above-mentioned subdivision. The design of this project has been <br />completed and is ready to go out for bid. <br />ANALYSIS <br />This project has been set up as an Assessment District, and will <br />assess the property owner along the route of the proposed <br />- distribution system. To accomplish -this, we have prepared the first <br />two of four resolutions mecessaxy T= an assessment project and are <br />now bringing them to the 33o=d of qty Commissioners for approval. <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the attached resolutions so <br />that we may set a hearing date for the preliminary assessment. <br />JUL 24 1990 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted Reso- <br />lution 90-88 providing for a water distribution system <br />to be installed in Citrus Gardens, method of payment of <br />assessments, etc., and adopted Resolution 90-89 setting <br />a time and place for a public hearing regarding the pro- <br />posed installation of a water system in Citrus Gardens. <br />47 <br />
