WW -4A ADDENDUM TO <br />WORK AUTHORIZATION WW -4 WITH MASTELLER AND <br />MOLER ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />IRC PROJECT NO. UW -87 -27 -CCS <br />• PREPARED WILLIAM F. McCAIN <br />AND STAFFED CAPITAL PROJECTS ENGINEER. <br />BY: A OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />BACKGROUND <br />As pointed out in our Capital Projects Report for the month of April <br />(to present), several design changes had to be made in the North <br />County Sewer Collection System and Effluent Disposal System. <br />Please see the attached monthly progress report, the Masteller and <br />.-Moler letter (Items No. 2 and 3, and the attached letter from - <br />Terrance G. Pinto, dated February 20th. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The design changes were necessitated for reasons that are explained <br />in the aforementioned attachments. Below, please find an itemized <br />list of the changes and associated engineering costs: <br />1. River Run connection due to $3,500.00 <br />Reflections not connecting to the <br />system at this time <br />2. Sandridge Golf Course pond modifications $4,400.00 <br />and effluent disposal line changes <br />Total $7,900.00 <br />Funds for this work will come from Account No. 435-000-169-413.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve Work Authorization WW -4A with <br />Masteller and Moler Associates, Inc. <br />42 <br />
