Proposal Request #8 - Change lettering on sign, amount - $148.50. This <br />change was required to add letters to the sign when the library name <br />was officially changed to North Indian River County Library. <br />The recommendation is to accept Proposal Request #8 and approve the <br />contract change of $148.50 and no time extension. <br />Proposal Request #9 - Modify interior window frames, amount - $616. <br />This request was made by Dow Howell Gilmore Interior Furnishing <br />Consultants after review of the plans revealed conflicts between the <br />furnishing layout and the architectural drawings. This will allow <br />shelving to be placed under these walls. <br />The recommendation is to accept Proposal Request #9 and approve the <br />contract change of $616 and no time extension. <br />Proposal Request #10 - Modify existing manhole, amount - $270.60. This <br />request was required to bring an existing manhole flush with the finish <br />grade of the parking lot. <br />The recommendation is to accept Proposal Request #10 and approve the <br />contract change of $270.60 and no time extension. <br />Proposal Request #11 - HVAC condensate drywell, amount - $165. - This <br />request was required to provide a more desirable location. Plans called <br />for termination too close to the building. <br />The recommendation for Proposal Request #11 is to accept and approve <br />the contract change of $165 and no time extension. <br />Proposal Request #12 - Additional cabinetry, amount - $1,540. This <br />request was initiated by Dow Howell Gilmore during the furnishings <br />selection and is for additional cabinetry added in the Reference and <br />childrens areas of the library. <br />The recommendation for Proposal Request #12 is to accept and approve <br />the contract change of $1,540 and no time extension. <br />Proposal Request #13 - Fire Rating Ceiling, Room 102 (meeting room), <br />amount - $5,823. This request is required due to a fire separation <br />requirement for the multipurpose meeting room. The original design by <br />the Architect was not acceptable to the Sebastian Building Department as <br />jurisdictional authority and interpreter of the Southern Building Code. <br />The rated ceiling was proposed by the Construction Manager and has <br />been approved by the Sebastian Building Department. <br />The recommendation is to accept Proposal Request #13 and approve the <br />contract change of $5,823 and no time extension. <br />' <br />AUG 21 1990 Roos <br />
