CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Approval of Appointments of Civil Process Servers by Sheriff <br />Tim Dobeck: <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />the following appointments of civil process servers by <br />Sheriff Tim Dobeck: <br />Beverly Barwick <br />Susie M. Erhardt <br />Sherrie D. Matthews <br />B. Proclamation - Juvenile Awareness Week <br />PROCLAMATION <br />DESIGNATING AUGUST 27-31, 1990 <br />AS <br />JUVENILE AWARENESS WEEK <br />WHEREAS, the youth in Indian River County are exposed to a <br />variety of conditions and/or situations that may test their moral <br />values; and <br />WHEREAS, public awareness of the problems juveniles <br />encounter may lead to solutions for those problems or may even <br />lead to ways of eliminating them; and <br />WHEREAS, there are a number of service organizations in <br />Indian River County that cater to the needs of juveniles; and <br />WHEREAS, it is important that lines of communication between <br />the service organizations and the residents of Indian River <br />County be kept open, thereby improving the mechanics of the <br />Juvenile Justice System; and <br />WHEREAS, juveniles are often the victims of crime and <br />several organizations cater specifically to the needs of juvenile <br />victims: <br />'Now, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Florida that August 27-31, <br />1990 be designated as <br />JUVENILE AWARENESS WEEK <br />in Indian River County, and the Board urges the citizens of this <br />County to encourage and support the service organizations working <br />to assist juveniles in many varied endeavors. <br />Adopted this 21 day of August, 1990. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER3 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Carolyn K.
