I <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 90-16 adopting the LDRs, as follows: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 90- I6 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA ESTABLISHING TITLE IX - LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CODE OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, CONTAINING THE <br />FOLLOWING CHAPTERS: PURPOSE AND INTENT, <br />DEFINITIONS, ADMINISTRATIVE MECHANISMS, <br />NON -CONFORMITIES, CONCURRENCY MANAGEMENT <br />SYSTEM, ZONING, SINGLE . FAMILY <br />DEVELOPMENT, SUBDIVISIONS AND PLATS, <br />SITE PLAN, PLANNED DEVELOPMENT, <br />DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL IMPACT, <br />ACCESSORY USES AND STRUCTURES, SANITARY <br />SEWER AND POTABLE WATER, OPEN <br />BURNING/AIR CURTAIN INCINERATOR <br />REGULATIONS, LANDSCAPE AND BUFFER, TREE <br />PROTECTION AND LAND CLEARING, WETLAND <br />-AND DEEPWATER HABITAT PROTECTION, UPLAND <br />HABITAT PROTECTION, STORMWATER <br />MANAGEMENT AND FLOOD PROTECTION, <br />WELLFIELD AND AQUIFER PROTECTION, <br />COASTAL MANAGEMENT, HISTORICAL AND <br />ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESOURCES PROTECTION, <br />EXCAVATION AND MINING, ROAD ADDRESSING, <br />TRAFFIC, FAIR SHARE ROADWAY <br />IMPROVEMENTS, PARKING, MOVING STRUCTURE, <br />SIGNS, REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC LAND USE <br />CRITERIA, TEMPORARY USES, PUBLIC <br />NUISANCE, NOISE; PROVIDING REPEAL; <br />PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN <br />-EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, by Chapter 163, Par.t II, Florida <br />Statutes, the State of Florida has required Indian River <br />County to adopt by ordinance and implement a comprehensive <br />plan; and <br />ORDINANCE 90-16 W/ATTACHMENTS IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK <br />TO THE BOARD. <br />I <br />Commissioner Bowman asked if there is anything we can do <br />about these commercial outfits that are grandfathered in and were <br />never required to buffer or to have any landscaping.
