NORTH COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT Administrator Chandler announced that the proposed budget is $1,033,933, and it contains an increase of approximately $111,773. The proposed millage rate is the cap of 1 mill, the same as the current year, and that represents a 5.2% increase over rollback. The most significant change within this overall budget is our effort to provide enhanced fire service in the north portions of our county. Chairman Eggert opened the public hearing on the North County Fire District and asked if anyone wished to be heard. There being none, she closed the public hearing.
