Mascola, CPO Manager <br />Division of Purchasing <br />SUBJ: IRC BID #91-17/Traffic Signal EgUiPM?nt <br />n7V VVe-T V1T7KW%. <br />On request from the Traffic Control Division, the subject bid was proper- <br />ly advertised and Seven (7) Invitations to Bid were sent out. On September <br />12, 1990 bids were received with Two (2) vendors submitting proposals for <br />the commodity. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the submittals to ascertain adherence to all specifi- <br />cations. <br />pecifications. Transyt Corporation was the low bidder and met all requirements. <br />FUNDING: <br />Monies for this project will cane frau Traffic Signal Budget Accounts <br />for Maintenance -Traffic Signals. Available funds $25,500.00. <br />RECON 49NDATICNS: <br />s <br />Staff recamiends the Award of an Open End Contract to Transyt Corporation <br />with an estimated value of $11,000 per year. Also, authorize the <br />Purchasing Manager to renew the Contract subject to satisfactory perfor- <br />mance, zero cost increase, vendor acceptance, and detAxmination that re- <br />newal is in the best interest of the County.
