Tuesday, October 2, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />October 2, 1990, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. <br />Eggert, Chairman; Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. <br />Bowman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present <br />were James. E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />County Attorney; OMB Director Joe Baird; and Barbara Bonnah, <br />Deputy Clerk <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Dr. G. Julius Rice, Pastor of Community Church, gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Wheeler led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested the following additions since <br />there isn't a meeting next week: <br />1) Change Order.#6 for Main Library - Sidewalks. <br />2) Amendment to Settlement Agreement with DCA to get some grant <br />money. <br />3) Firefighters Contract <br />4) Discussion re future joint meeting with Sebastian City <br />Council. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the removal of Item K - Purchase <br />of Mita Copier. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously added and <br />deleted the above items to today's Agenda. <br />
