UW -90 -21 -DS <br />BACKGROUND <br />We have received a petition for water service from the majority of <br />residents in Miraflores Subdivision (a private road also known as <br />33rd Avenue). The Department of Utility Services will design the <br />project in-house upon approval of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The project consists of tying into an existing 10 -inch water line on <br />5th Street S.W. and constructing a 6 -inch line on 33rd Avenue, a <br />distance of approximately -1,000 feet. <br />This will be an assessment project to be paid for by the property <br />owners. A cost estimate will be prepared during preliminary design <br />and submitted with Resolutions I and II. <br />The Department of .Utility Services recommends the approval of the <br />subject project for in-house design. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously approved the <br />subject project for in-house design. <br />OCT 1 6 Imn 63 poor. =� i, 6' t <br />
